Ottawa – Dairy Farmers of Canada and Pizza Pizza Limited are showcasing the Blue Cow logo in select Pizza Pizza marketing campaigns in Canada to show support for Canadian farmers and promote values like food quality and sustainability.

The logo signifies that the mozzarella cheese topping the pizzas is made with 100 per cent Canadian milk.

Pizza Pizza and Dairy Farmers of Canada logos (CNW Group/Dairy Farmers of Canada)“No fewer than nine out of 10 Canadians recognize the logo, found on 8,600 products, and we are excited to welcome Pizza Pizza into our Blue Cow family of more than 500 brands and three dozen restaurant chains,” said Dairy Farmers of Canada president Pierre Lampron in a news release.

DFC and Pizza Pizza share many of the same values related to food quality, animal care, sustainability and community involvement, important factors that consumers consider when making purchasing decisions, the organizations said in the release.
