Toronto – Toronto-area chain Pizza Nova recently treated 20 customers – 10 children and 10 adults – to a VIP Blue Jays fan experience.

On June 10, the lucky attendees had lunch at Pizza Nova and were treated to guest appearances from Toronto Blue Jays Mascot Ace and Pizza Nova Mascot Leonardough. Activities included a private tour of the Rogers Centre, passes to Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, entry into the Toronto Blue Jays batting practice, and tickets to the Toronto Blue Jays game.

Pizza Nova also surprised attendees with Limited Edition Josh Donaldson MVP Bobbleheads and more giveaways. “I think it’s amazing that Pizza Nova put something like this together,” attendee Erin Rivet said in a news release from Pizza Nova. “It really shows the core values behind the company.”

Among the 10 children in attendance were five ambassadors from Variety Village Children’s Charity.

“The Variety Village ambassadors do a lot of great work in our community, especially during our annual That’s Amore Pizza for Kids day,” Pizza Nova president Domenic Primucci said in the release. “Today was about thanking them, and thanking our customers for all their support over the last 53 years.”
