Toronto – Pizza Nova will host interactive pizza-making workshops for kids at Toronto’s first Canadian National Exhibition.

The CNE takes place Aug.19 to Sept. 5, after a two-year hiatus. A supporter of the CNE for over 45 years, Pizza Nova returns as a sponsor and, in addition to feeding visitors will offer an interactive pizza-making workshop for children at Kids’ World.

“It’s wonderful to be heading back to The Ex this year,” said Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova. “We’re always eager to share our love of food with people – but it’s particularly special this year.”

The daily 30-minute workshops will include pizza trivia, tips and tricks on kneading dough and the fun presence of Leonardough, the chain’s beloved mascot. Children will also leave the event with a loot bag and a slice of pizza.

“I’ve been blessed to experience firsthand the enjoyment of making pizza with my grand-parents, parents and now children,” Primucci said. “I will never forget these memorable experiences and I’m so happy to share them with others.”

Organizers of the CNE are expecting more than one million visitors this year.
