vegan cheese to its menu. The dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free substitute
is now available on all company products.
“Over 20 per cent of Canadians are lactose-intolerant,” said
Pizza Nova president Domenic Primucci in a news release. “It is very important
to us that we offer a product that everyone can enjoy.”
After thorough product testing, the company chose Daiya
Foods of Vancouver as the supplier of this specialty product. Daiya Foods
specializes in producing dairy-free cheese and has won "Best New Vegan
Product'' for two straight years at VegWorld Magazine's Best in Show Awards.
