Toronto – Pizza Hut Canada is permanently bringing back three popular Beyond Meat menu items and a plant-based topping at all locations in Canada after a successful trial over the summer.

These menu items include: The Great Beyond pizza, Beyond Italian Sausage Alfredo Loaded Flatbread and Beyond Creamy Alfredo, which are all made with Beyond Italian Sausage Crumbles, a plant-based Italian sausage that contains no GMOs, soy or gluten.

To celebrate the launch, Beyond Meat and Pizza Hut are running a promotion that gives customers a chance to win a free Great Beyond pizza. The chain is rewarding the everyday victories – what it calls “the little flexes” – with free pizza. Examples include successfully parallel parking in one try or trying out a more flexitarian diet with plant-based protein. For a chance to win, Canadians everywhere can visit @PizzaHutCanada on Instagram and comment their little flexes on the contest post and tag two friends from Jan. 10 to 24 or until supplies last.

To encourage customers to try plant-based Beyond Italian Sausage Crumbles, the chain’s Buy One, Get One deal lets customers try pizzas topped with crumbles at no additional cost when they purchase a regular-priced medium or large pizza. For six weeks starting on Jan. 31, Pizza Hut’s $5 $5 $5 deal allows pizza lovers to order a pizza with the crumbles for only $5 with a regular-priced large pizza.

Canada is the second market to permanently offer Beyond Meat menu items nationally. After a successful trial of Beyond Meat Pizzas in the United Kingdom last year, Pizza Hut brought them back as a permanent menu option at all Pizza Hut U.K. delivery locations in July 2021.
