Pizza chain helps raise dough for charity

May 13, 2014 – Pizza Nova is inviting customers to
help raise money for Variety Village. Today only Pizza Nova and Variety Village will
host their 15th Annual That's Amore Pizza for Kids day, with more than 125 stores participating.

May 13, 2014 – Pizza Nova is inviting customers to
help raise money for Variety Village.
Today only Pizza Nova and Variety Village will
host their 15th Annual That's Amore Pizza for Kids day, with more than 125 stores
participating.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., customers can walk
in to participating locations across Southern Ontario and purchase a medium
pepperoni pizza for only $4.39 plus tax. 
Pizza Nova will donate $1 from each pizza sold to Variety Village.

Variety Village seeks to improve the
quality of life and integration into society of all people, regardless of their
abilities, says its website. The organization offers specialized programs and
services with the aim of creating a level playing field without barriers,
intimidation or other obstacles.

“We are very proud of how our customers and
franchisees have come together over the years to raise over $1 million for
Variety Village,” said Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova, in a news
release. “We are happy to help out with Variety Village and their goal of
enhancing the quality of life and integration into society of all people,
regardless of their abilities.”
