March 31, 2015, Edmonton – Western Canadian chain Pizza
73 turns 30 this year and is
celebrating the milestone with new launches and a partnership with Air Miles.

The
company opened the doors to its first location in Edmonton in
1985 with a mission to provide a “better meal at a better deal,” the company said in a news release.

To mark the occasion, the company has launched a new and improved website,
iPhone app and mobile website aimed at enhancing the overall user experience. With its digital customer
base exceeding 40 per cent of its business, the company said it expects to
see further growth with the upgraded platforms.

“In
1985, Pizza 73 opened its doors and introduced the dream of delivering
great food with great value to Albertans,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer. “It’s important for us to
keep up with evolving tastes and behaviours through continuous
innovation of products and technology. Offering convenience, choice,
quality food and value are what the market is hungry for and where we
want to lead.”

As
another way of thanking its customers for 30 years of business, Pizza
73 has partnered with the AIr Miles Reward Program. Customers will receive five reward miles when ordering by phone or
online twice in one month, on orders of $35 or more. The
pizza chain will also offer an introductory bonus that allows customers
to earn 25 reward miles on any single order, placed online or by phone,
starting at $35, until April 12.
