This September, three Panago employees were selected and awarded $500 each towards their continuing education at a post-secondary institution of their choice. Among the recipients were Melissa Rollin from Comox, B.C., Troy Burge from Chilliwack, B.C., and Erin Strilchuk from Lethbridge, Alta.
The new scholarship initiative, which launched this year as part of Panago’s continued commitment to their community and staff, allows store owners from across the country to recommend an employee they feel has made a positive difference in their community. The selected employee must work a minimum of 15 hours per week at a Panago location and be an active community volunteer.
Panago, a delivery takeout pizza franchise from Western Canada, currently has 160 stores across Canada and system-wide sales in excess of $125 million.
