MISSISSAUGA – Quiznos Sub has targeted “la belle Province” for growth, where the company awarded more than 75 franchises for development. With four restaurants opened so far, Quiznos Sub is set to increase its presence in the market with the opening of 20 more locations before the end of 2005, reaching a total of 80 by the end of 2006.
In the coming weeks, Quiznos has said it will strengthen its presence in the market with the opening of ten new restaurants in Quebec: Montreal (World Trade Center, Les Cours Mont-Royal, Rockland Center, Eaton Center), Brossard, St-Hubert, Repentigny, Quebec City, Hull, and Cantley.
“We look forward to continued success with our Quebec-based business partners as we expand the Quiznos brand,” said Greg MacDonald, chief marketing officer for Quiznos Canada.
The No. 3 ranked store in Canada, after only three months of operation, is located in the Quebec City suburb of Ste-Foy.
Quiznos offers a complete dining experience with gourmet, toasted sandwiches, a low fat menu, and a selection of fresh salads, hearty soups and specialty desserts.
“People are trying to adopt healthier lifestyles and a big part of that is eating better quality food. Quiznos attracts customers looking for healthier alternatives to traditional fast food that taste great and offer all of the convenience of quick service,” said MacDonald.
