Bunge North America announced it will resume canola operations at its oilseed processing plant in Hamilton, Ontario. Once the needed modifications are complete in December 2007, the plant will have the capacity to crush 240,000 MT of canola per year.
The project includes the installation of odour abatement equipment that will reduce odour emissions well below where they are currently.
Bunge is Canada’s largest canola processor and has crushing facilities in Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
