Sudbury, Ont. – Franchisor Topper’s Pizza recently moved into its new 3,000-square-foot customer care centre on Westmount Avenue in Sudbury, Ont., to accommodate growth by approximately 50 more staff.

“In the spirit of keeping jobs in Northern Ontario we see a very clear growth trajectory for Sudbury and wanted to keep our company roots in our hometown,” co-owner Kelly Toppazzini said in a news release. “The growth into a larger facility is a testament to the strength of our customer call-in ordering service and where we see our business going.”

Toppazzini estimates that every new pizzeria location that comes on board with the customer call centre, means an additional two to three staff.

“Sudbury is where the story of Topper’s Pizza began. With the addition of a brand-new facility in our 35th year of business, our call centre representatives are proud to be part of the company’s local history. We are a family business with family values,” said Kimberly Blanchard, the centre’s manager, who has been with the facility for seven years.
