“Winning in the foodservice industry has never been more challenging. Even the savviest of operators have been challenged by declining traffic numbers, wage increase pressures, and the intensification of competition” said Ashley West, executive director of foodservice at The NPD Group. “Despite these challenges, this year’s award winners have managed to achieve success by focusing on innovation, customer satisfaction, and quality.”
Awards were presented Oct. 2 at the annual NPD Foodservice Summit in Toronto.
