Pizza Pizza helps fundraise for new SickKids building

Toronto – Pizza Pizza has committed to raising $2 million for the SickKids Foundation’s new SickKids VS Limits campaign.

The campaign’s goal is to raise a total of $1.3 billion, a large chunk of which would be used to completely rebuild the clinical space in the existing SickKids building, Pizza Pizza said in a news release.

The funds raised by SickKids Foundation are divided in three components: $600 million towards a new patient care centre, $600 million towards pediatric health research, and $100 million towards establishing partnerships for patient care.

As of Nov. 15, Pizza Pizza had raised more than $700,000 to support the SickKids VS Limits campaign.
