Slices for Smiles fundraiser

This month, Pizza 73 will celebrate its 25th anniversary by raising money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

Oct. 19, 2010, Edmonton – This month, Pizza 73 will celebrate its 25th
anniversary by raising money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

The chain’s Slices for Smiles fundraiser will run from October 18th to October 30th across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. For every online 12”  2-Topper Everyday Deal (two pizzas or a pizza and wing meal) purchased, Pizza 73 will donate 50 cents to Children’s Miracle Network and the four children’s hospitals it supports in Western Canada. Customers can also add a donation to any order placed online, in store or by phone.

“Thanks to our loyal customers, the last 25 years have been filled with prosperity and fun,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer for Pizza 73. “The Slices for Smiles fundraiser is a great way for us to show our thanks and give back to the community.”

Other anniversary celebrations include a scratch and win contest that gives customers a chance to win thousands of food prizes, 42” plasma televisions and all-inclusive trips to Varadero, Cuba.

To date, Pizza 73 and its parent company, Pizza Pizza, have raised more than $400,000 for Children’s Miracle Network through the Slices for Smiles campaign.
