Milan, Italy – Nearly 2,000 companies will exhibit their equipment, wares and services at the 2019 Hostmilano show, which features catering, pasta, pizza, ice-cream, coffee, bar, bakery and restaurant décor areas.
The five-day event is set to take place at Fieramilano, from Oct. 18 to 22. In the words of organizers, HostMilano is a “hotbed of trends in the hospitality world, as well as the ideal place at which to meet the most important firms in the sector, both national and international.”
As of June 24, 1,912 companies will participate (an increase of eight per cent compared to this time in 2017). Italian companies make up 1,127 of exhibitors and 785 companies hail from overseas
New participants include Albania, Argentina, Colombia, Iran, Latvia and Lebanon.
The Professional Catering and Bread/Pizza/Pasta fields remain the best represented with nearly 44 per cent of exhibitor space. Coffee/Tea/Vending/Ice-cream/Bakery represent 37 per cent and Décor/Table 19.1 per cent.
Visitors and professionals will find at the show “a real global “kitchen” where exhibitions and cookery demonstrations, samples and tasting pathways, roundtables, and cookoffs between bakers, award-winning chefs, baristas and designers.
