Golf day for restaurant industry helps support Ontario Disability Golf Championships

Tottenham, Ont. – Woodington Lake Golf Club in Tottenham, Ont., will host its first Restaurant & Hospitality Golf Tournament in support of the Ontario Disability Golf Championships.

The day of golf and networking for the food industry will take place on Monday, June 10, at Woodington Lake Golf Club, the club said in a news release.

Registration and the driving range open at about 11 a.m. The day includes a barbecue at 11:30 a.m. with a call to the carts at 12:40 p.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. sharp.

There will be a contest and entertainment on the course. A cash cocktail reception at 6 p.m. will be followed by dinner and wine, prizes and entertainment.

Those who work in the food industry are invited to participate. The cost per person is $20; cost per team is $80.

Proceeds will help support the first Ontario Disability Golf Championships, which will be hosted by the club Aug. 23-25.
