Famoso to open three stores in Saskatchewan

Regina – Vancouver-based Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria will add three locations in Regina and Lloydminster, Sask., beginning in late 2016.

Earlier this year, Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria was also ranked No. 105 on the latest PROFIT 500, a list of Canada’s fastest-growing companies, ranked annually by PROFIT Magazine and Canadian Business.

“Since we opened up our first – and currently only – location at Hill Centre in Regina in 2015, we’ve received nothing but love from the city,” says Justin Lussier, co-founder and chief executive officer of Famoso, in a news release. “The community in Regina is great, and so are the restaurant partners we’re working with on these expansion plans. We have the utmost confidence that the management teams we have in place at all three new locations will not only help these restaurants succeed, but also flourish and thrive.”

The opening of the new Rochdale location in late fall 2016 will be led by the general manager and owner of the existing Hill Centre location, the news release said. In 2017, the Eastgate opening will be led by new operating partner and general manager Todd Taylor.

Currently, Famoso operates in 28 locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
