Mississauga, Ont. – Boston Pizza is upgrading its back-of-house and front-of-house technology with three platforms that manage guests, menus and recipes.

The chain is working in partnership with QSR Automations to update its technology, Boston Pizza International said in a news release.

DineTime is a guest management platform that helps restaurants accurately and efficiently seat guests, manage their tables, waitlists and reservations, and store guest information in a digital database. DineTime integrates with back-of-house software, ConnectSmart Kitchen.

ConnectSmart Kitchen helps Boston Pizza manage its menu of more than 100 items by directing the flow of the kitchen with advanced routing, timing on orders and by providing reporting through a dashboard display.

The casual dining chain is also deploying TeamAssist, a digital recipe viewer, which manages recipes and procedures in one central location.

The rollout aims to be in 300 of the chain’s 390 locations by the end of 2018.
