purchasing their own website with the ".pizza" domain name.

purchasing their own website with the ".pizza" domain name.
The ".pizza" top-level domain name is one of several rolling out for
public purchase. They will join other existing top-level domain names such
as ".com," ".ca" and ".org" already in use.
This is good news for pizzerias, as it will now be easier to
acquire memorable web addresses like www.pizzeria-name.pizza.
The
extension .pizza is currently in the Sunrise phase. During this period, anyone who owns a registered trademark registered with the Trademark Clearning House can apply to
register the domain name associated with their trademark before
registrations are available to the general public. The Sunrise period
lasts for 60 days.
To purchase a domain name, you need to
submit an order to the TMCH for the name
that you want to place an order during this phase. The General
Availability phases for this top-level (TLD) is set for Dec. 10.
