Oakville, Ont. – Little Caesars is launching its “Pizza Portal” pick-up service in most Canadian stores.

The heated, self-service mobile order pickup portal was introduced in the United States in 2018.

Customers can order and customize their pizza through the Little Caesars app or mobile website, and choose a time that fits their schedule,” the company said in a news release. “They are notified through the app and/or website when their custom order is ready. They can then bypass the lines and counter and go directly to the Pizza Portal pickup, input a three-digit pin or scan a QR code that opens the secured compartment for their pizza order.

Little Caesars ‘Pizza Portal’ lets customers bypass the lines and counter, and input a three-digit pin or scan a QR code that opens the secured compartment for their pizza order.

“Our longtime and loyal customers are at the core of everything we do,” said Paula Vissing, senior vice-president for Little Caesars. “We respect their time. We value their loyalty. That is why we are relentless in our pursuit of innovative ways to make their lives easier and more hassle-free.”

The Little Caesars mobile app includes mobile payment, a store locator that automatically detects the closest store to the customer, a “Custom pizza builder” that allows the customer to drag and drop crust and topping choices, and order scheduling up to six days in advance.

The Pizza Portal received the Applied Technology Award from QSR Magazine and the Marketing and Technology Innovation Award from the International Franchise Association.
