Little Caesars puts Detroit-style pizza on sale in U.S.

Features Business and Operations MarketingDetroit – Little Caesars is promoting its Detroit-Style DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza with a sale in U.S. stores from Nov. 2-15.
The pizza will be $6 US plus tax where applicable, reduced from the typical $8 price point.
Detroit-style pizza is a rectangular pizza that gets its crispy-crunchy edge and chewy inside texture from baking in a custom metal pan coated with olive oil, Little Caesars said in a news release.
The regional style also is known for its square or rectangular shape with a thick deep-dish crisp crust and cheese from edge to edge.
“We are so enthusiastic about our Detroit-Style DEEP!DEEP! Dish and proud to offer such a premium pizza to our customers,” said Ed Gleich, senior vice-president of Global Marketing for Little Caesars, in the release.
