Liberté Natural Foods (LNF) announced last month that it will be expanding to Western Canada. On October 29th, Liberté Natural Foods opened its distribution facility in Richmond, B.C. The 42,000-square-foot building is equipped to house refrigerated, frozen and shelf stable products. Twelve new permanent full-time jobs will be created, to go with the 80-member Brampton head office team where more than 800 brands are housed in the company’s 60,000-square-foot facility.

“This is simply the next step in a very strategic and measured program designed to increase our ability to provide dependable and consistent value-added distribution for the benefit of our customers, vendor partners and, ultimately, consumers,” said Paul Roach, president, Liberté Natural Foods.

Roach went on to say that B.C. market demand for organic and natural foods continues to skyrocket and that LNF can support vendor partners with extended reach in one of the fastest growing natural food markets in Canada.
