Korok Group Inc. welcomes new board members

Vincent Tourigny and Dave Couture are co-owners of Korok Group Inc., which operates Hot Rocks Pizza Ovens and other brands.

Drummondville, Que. – Korok Group Inc., a manufacturer of commercial food equipment operating Hot Rocks Pizza Ovens and other brands, recently welcomed three members to its board of directors.

Vanessa Grondin, P. Eng., EMBA, ASC, George Jeffrey and Matthieu Rheault.

Grondin is a board member of Ino, president and co-founder of 2 Degrés and vice-president and Global Head of Strategy at Optel.

Jeffrey is senior vice-president at McKesson Canada and has worked number of years in the food and beverage industry as president and global chief operating officer at Quiznos and vice-president of enterprise development at Pizza Pizza.

Rheault is a partner at McCarthy Tétrault Business Law Group in Montréal. The leading partner for the food and beverage industry, he practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, partnerships and corporate reorganizations.

We believe that the contribution of these members will bring new momentum to our growth, which will be focused on innovation, international business development and strategic acquisitions,” the company said in a news release. “Creating a diversified and complementary board of directors will enable Korok to realize its vision to become a Quebec flagship and reach its first goal of 50 million in annual revenues.”
