Toronto – Heritage Parts Canada, a provider of replacement parts for commercial kitchen equipment, has launched an eCommerce website developed specifically for the Canadian foodservice industry.

HeritageParts.ca gives customers options to buy parts and access technical information, the company said in a news release. The bilingual online store offers the ability to transact in Canadian currency, without duties or fees.

As with its U.S. online store, customers can view high-definition, rotatable parts images using Heritage’s innovative Expert ID360 viewer. HeritageParts.ca shows real-time parts inventory and calculates exact shipping costs. Information, such as parts specifications, “fits model” links, weights, dimensions and an easy access library of thousands of equipment manuals, parts diagrams and schematics, help customers find the parts they need.

It is interconnected with Heritage’s Canadian-based customer service representatives, enabling customers to interact online.

The company offers over-the-counter parts pick-up in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton and Vancouver. Parts that are not found in Heritage’s Canadian distribution center(s) are backed by Heritage Parts’ extensive inventory in the US and will be shipped directly to the customer, duty free.

“Developing an online presence, specifically for Canada, was crucial,” said John T. McDonough, Heritage Foodservice Group president and chief executive officer. “The Canadian market is unique. Simply extending a U.S. site to Canada does not wholly address the needs of our customers. HeritageParts.ca was created to give customers every possible option for researching and purchasing parts that meet those needs. Whether online, via phone or through email, Canadian customers have true 24/7 access to what they need, when they need it.”
