Jotwani promoted to international marketing manager

March 31, 2009, Mississauga – RATIONAL, the creator of the
SelfCooking Center, promoted Vinod Jotwani from U.S. marketing manager to
international marketing manager for the U.S. and Canada.

In his new role, Jotwani, who joined RATIONAL in 2003, will
develop strategic marketing programs and monitor sales and marketing
performance in the two North American subsidiaries. In addition to hiring and
training the marketing staff and corporate chefs that support the sales team,
Jotwani will manage over 100 national, regional and local trade shows and sales
events. He will also oversee the design and development of trade show exhibits.

As international marketing manager, Jotwani will manage a
staff of five employees and report to Reinhard Banasch, chief sales officer and
member of board of directors, RATIONAL AG.

"The recent shift in responsibilities will allow
RATIONAL to continue to grow internationally and fully utilize the strengths
and professional experience of Jotwani," commented Björn Rowland,
executive vice president of RATIONAL AG.
