Independents fight back with 10-10-10

September 2, 2010 – A
group of independent pizzerias have decided to take on the chains with the
intention of making October 10 the first Independent Pizzeria Day.  

Their message is loud and clear: Say no to corporate pizza.

A Facebook page has been started to support the effort and
can be found at http://www.facebook.com/IndependentPizzerias . The day will be billed as 10-10-10 with participating pizzerias challenged to
offer a promotion to battle the $10 chain pizza.
