Hot Rocks to give away oven at Pizza Expo

Drummondville, Que. – Hot Rocks Pizza Ovens is giving away a $35,000 Stone conveyor oven to one lucky winner at the International Pizza Expo.

In 2018, Joe Longo of Joey’s Italian Grille claimed the free oven.

The Hot Rocks Stone conveyor oven combines the speed and convenience of a wire mesh conveyor with the quality and authentic taste of a deck oven, according to a news release from Hot Rocks.

The ovens will be fired up at booth 1015 during Pizza Expo, March 31 to April 2.

“Attendees are welcome to bring their own dough and ingredients to experience for themselves just how much of a game changer the Hot Rocks would be for their business,” said Vincent Tourigny, owner and chief financial officer of the company. “The International Pizza Expo is exciting for us – for the past five years, we’ve been showing our Stone conveyor oven to all of you passionate pizza men and women.”

The Stone oven is the result of many years of R&D combined with customer insight to redesign the conventional pizza oven, said the company, which is a spinoff of Picard Ovens. Operators and chefs who can’t make the trip to Las Vegas are invited to visit the Hot Rocks test kitchen or visit one of its test kitchen partners.
