Grasshopper Wheat Ale wins gold

September 28, 2009, Calgary – Big Rock
Brewery added another gold medal to its trophy case after Grasshopper Wheat Ale
received a gold medal at the Canadian Brewing Awards in the Wheat Beer North
American Style category.

The Canadian Brewing Awards is a national
competition that invites breweries of all sizes from across the country to
compete in a blind tasting. Beers were judged based on appearance, aroma,
flavour, mouth feel and overall impression.

Grasshopper, one of Big Rock Brewery's most
popular beers, is a Kristall Weizen German-style wheat ale.
