Ben Lee is Globe's new national accounts manager.

Dayton, OH – Ben Lee has joined Globe Food Equipment Company as its national accounts manager.

Lee will be responsible for managing Globe’s national account strategy and working with local reps and the distribution channel to deliver solutions for existing and targeted chains.

Lee most recently worked with InterMetro where he brings 10 years of experience as manager of strategic accounts – foodservice and grocery, and as a national strategic accounts manager. He has also held roles as a regional sales manager for Alto-Shaam and director of sales in the Southeast U.S. for APW Wyott.

Lee’s background also includes more than 10 years of engineering and foodservice design experience from such firms as WD Partners and Best Restaurant Equipment and Design. His knowledge from those roles will be integral in helping Globe position products for its diverse customer base.

“We’re very excited to have Ben join our team here at Globe and know he will be able to make an immediate impact”, said Dan Farmer, Globe’s vice-president of sales and marketing. “His deep understanding of multi-unit operations, design and the distribution channel will be valuable in growing Globe’s national account sales.”

Globe, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Middleby Corporation, offers a line of mixers and slicers, along with meat choppers, weighing systems, and gas and electric cooking equipment.
