
General Assembly Pizza partners with food broker Propel Natural Brands

News Business and Operations FinanceToronto – Propel Natural Brands will handle sales in Canada for General Assembly Pizza, a fast-casual pizza restaurant and frozen pizza brand based in Toronto.
GA Pizza will work with the Campbellville, Ont.-based consumer packaged goods food broker to manage sales in the Canadian market for natural and specialty product manufacturers.
In the second quarter of 2021, GA Pizza reported frozen sales were up 70 per cent over the first quarter, and recently secured a master production facility for their frozen pizza line.
“My goal is to get GA Pizza into as many retailers as possible so that all Canadians get to enjoy a better frozen pizza experience,” said Patrick Higgins, president of Propel Natural Brands, in a news release.
GA Pizza also has launched a new website designed to provide a faster and smoother experience with new features like delivery frequency, buy now and skip delivery. “Buy Now” is an anticipated new feature offering customizable, one-time-purchase pizza boxes, allowing customers to sample a pizza how and when they want it.
