This summer General Assembly Pizza will open a satellite restaurant location with a view of Lake Ontario and seating for 800 pizza lovers.

GA Pizza has set up a semi-permanent restaurant structure at The Slip, in partnership with Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre and Boxcar Social, which sells small bites and beverages. It is designed to showcase the same “pizza theatre” celebrated at its flagship location, adapted to an open-air setting with open views of dough, pizza preparation and cooking in a wood-fired brick oven. The company has hired chef Nicholas Morra for this new venture.

“We’re fanatical about bringing unrivaled pizza experiences to pizza lovers—and we couldn’t think of a better way to introduce GA Pizza Experiences than enjoying our wood-fired, hot pizza al fresco, by the water,” said founder and chief executive officer Ali Khan Lalani.

The personal pizzas will also be available to go, through takeout, open Monday to Thursday.
