April 29, 2011, Ottawa – Gabriel Pizza is encouraging voters to make their voices heard on May 2.
The Ottawa-based chain will be attaching vote reminders to all pizza boxes sold from April 21 through May 2. Moreover, today through Monday, all customer service representatives at the Gabriel Pizza order desk will be reminding customers to get out and vote. Messaging in Gabriel’s various print and radio spots, as well as on its digital billboards, web site and social media will support these efforts.
On May 2, the chain will also offer an election night special: “three Liberally topped pizzas at a very Conservative price.” Voters can choose from three of Gabriel’s classic pizza recipes: the Gabriel deluxe ($17), vegetarian ($16) or pepperoni ($15).
The folks at Gabriel Pizza, who deliver 15,000 orders every week, hope that their “Vote and we’ll get dinner ready” campaign will encourage young and dormant voters to cast their ballots.
