Ottawa – Gabriel Pizza has entered a long-term commitment with Hôpital Montfort to support the Orléans Health Hub and Montfort’s employee recognition program.
Gabriel Pizza’s contribution will help the community have access to integrated programs, close to home and under one roof, the company said in a news release.
In recognition for their efforts and hard work, Gabriel Pizza will provide food to the entire staff during Montfort’s Staff Appreciation Day.
For more than 40 years, Gabriel Pizza is a cornerstone of our community and is well-known for giving back, supporting numerous causes such as health, education, arts, and sports. Among other generous donations, Montfort staff were treated on numerous occasions to delicious pizza during the COVID-19 crisis and National Nursing Week.
“Gabriel Pizza grew up in this very community. Gabriel Pizza is deeply rooted in Orléans,” says George Hanna, president of Gabriel Pizza. “The Orléans Health Hub is an important facility to the on-going health care of area residents. It is only natural that we would support such a worthy initiative.”
The financial support allows Montfort and its partners to care and services to the people of Ottawa.
“This contribution brings us closer to reaching our $12 million campaign goal towards this unique and innovation model of health care and it’s a great way to express our thanks to the hospital’s devoted staff, it’s a win-win situation!” said Marc Villeneuve, president and CEO of the Montfort Foundation.
