June 12, 2013, Morton Grove, IL – Xylem released two Flojet brand products – the BevJet Compact and the V-Jet series rotary vane pumps.
The BevJet Compact is designed to distribute water, wine, non-pulp juices, iced teas, alcohol (less than 15 percent concentration), syrups and more through the motorized unit. The system is ideal for applications requiring flow rates from 0.8 to 1.0 GPM (3.0 – 3.8 L/Min).
The system employs automatic shut-off technology that senses when a bag-in-box or bottled water unit is depleted. The automatic shut-off feature is supported by Flojet’s electric diaphragm pump technology.
Xylem also launched Flojet V-Jet series rotary vane pump heads. The low flow, high-pressure positive displacement units were developed for applications such as, beverage carbonation, water dispense and boosting, as well as coffee. The V-Jet’s patented design is built to eliminate the risk of contamination from lead that is often found in traditional brass pumps.
