Famoso's new Mattina Pizza features Parmesan crema, sautéed leeks, pancetta, prosciutto crisps, Grana Padano, Italian parsley and a fried egg. The Prawn Pesto Pizza features roasted garlic, red onions, seasoned ricotta, sautéed prawns, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, pistachio pesto and a lemon wedge.

Vancouver – Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria has added Mattina and Prawn Pesto pizzas and brought back the seasonal Don Andreas pizza to its menu at all locations.

“Our Mattina pizza is a Naples-style pizza topped with a fried egg you’ll want to get your hands on,” said Justin Lussier, chief executive officer and co-founder of Famoso. It features Parmesan crema, sautéed leeks, pancetta, prosciutto crisps, Grana Padano, Italian parsley and a fried egg.

The Prawn Pesto Pizza features roasted garlic, red onions, seasoned ricotta, sautéed prawns, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, pistachio pesto and a lemon wedge.

Don Andreas Pizza: House-made corn salsa, avocado, chicken, Valentina hot sauce.

The chain also also has brought back a summer salad featuring arugula, mint, goat cheese, blackberries, candied pecans and blackberry vinaigrette.

It has added to its drinks menu the Moscow Mule, which consists of vodka, fresh lime, soda, house-made ginger syrup.

“In keeping with our commitment to using house-made, fresh ingredients, these new pizzas and returning favourites use seasonal ingredients like avocado, blackberries, and prawns,” Lussier said.

Famoso has 30 locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
