February 5, 2010, Edmonton, Alta. – Pizza Hut’s search for Canada’s greatest wingman has wrapped up with a couple of Edmontonians proving that when it comes to the art of winging it, the west has what it takes.

Derek Scott, 26, nominated by his partner in crime Steven Diachuk, 29, took a bite out of the competition of more than 200 Canadian hopefuls to capture Pizza Hut's coveted Ultimate WingStreet Wingman crown.

Pizza Hut is sending the pair on a premium Vegas getaway that includes first class airfare, a four night stay at a luxury hotel and $4,000 in cash and gift cards – everything they need to hit up Vegas in style. The total prize value is $10,000, plus bragging rights.

"I've been a Pizza Hut fan my whole life," says Diachuk. "My friends and I order WingStreet wings all the time and the second I heard about this contest I knew I had to sign Derek up. He and I have been through so much together, this was the ultimate way to reward him for all the years of being a great wingman."
