DoorDash to award COVID-19 Restaurant Relief Grants

Toronto – Third-party delivery service DoorDash has announced the winners of its COVID-19 Restaurant Relief Grants program naming 109 restaurants in Montreal, 169 restaurants in Toronto and 85 restaurants in Vancouver.

Each of the 363 recipients will receive $3,000, which can be used to cover operating costs during the pandemic, including rent, payroll, purchasing PPE, expanding outdoor dining capacity and other expenses.

A total of $1,125,000 in local grants is being distributed among the recipients.
