Ann Arbor, MI – Domino’s has partnered with and free web-based platform IFTTT to offer a free service that allows people to add and create connections between digital devices and services using simple conditional statements called applets.

The applets let diners create customized applets for many of the services and devices they use or own, Domino’s said in a news release, adding that it is the first restaurant brand to join the IFTTT platform.

Applets already created by the chain include one that will automatically turn off a customer’s sprinklers or turn on their porch lights when the Domino’s Tracker says their order is out for delivery. Customers can also download an applet that turns on their Samsung POWERbot when their order is being prepared – perfect for when the house needs a good vacuuming before the gang stops by for a pizza party, the company said.
