Feb. 2, 2009, Abbotsford, B.C.—Restaurant point of sale provider SpeedLine Solutions, Inc.
has engaged Jim Fish, vice president of the PCI Security Standards
Council-authorized IT governance and compliance firm Coalfire Systems, to
present a seminar on credit card security and PCI compliance at the
International Pizza Expo.

“Last week’s reports
of a major credit card security breach at Heartland Payment Systems and a 47 per cent
rise in data breaches in the United
States in 2008 were unsettling reminders of the critical need
for restaurant operators to learn to protect their businesses,” says SpeedLine
president John de Wolde.

“Failing to comply with PCI requirements can
result in steep fines,” notes Fish, “and a card data breach could leave a
restaurant operator in a devastating liability situation.”

adds, “To safeguard our customers, we invested in a thorough security audit
and PABP validation of our POS software, and as a follow-up to that, arranged
this complimentary educational session at Pizza Expo.”

scheduled for 9:00 am, Wednesday, March 11 in room N260 at the Las
Vegas Convention Center.

 Attendees may
pre-register for this seminar at: www.speedlinesolutions.com/PizzaExpoSeminar.
