ChefTec TT set for Sept. release
By Canadian PizzaNews
August 22, 2011, Boulder, CO – ChefTec TT, the next major upgrade from Culinary Software Services, will be released on Sept. 6.
The production management module has been significantly enhanced in ChefTec TT, particularly when used in conjunction with CorTec, used by supermarkets and other operations managing centralized production or centralized purchasing. The production and transfer of produced foods using the requisition and transfer capabilities of ChefTec TT is now easier than ever.
"One of the most exciting new features in ChefTec TT is the new Caterease import that will benefit our catering and event center customers," said Bev Daniels, general manager for Culinary Software Services. "The new import allows a banquet event order (BEO) to be directly imported into a production sheet in ChefTec so the operator knows exactly what needs to be produced at the touch of a button. Increased efficiency means increased profits and happier customers – both critical for a successful catering business."
ChefTec's nutritional analysis feature is becoming increasingly important to food service operations because of legislative initiatives and more nutritionally conscious customers. ChefTec TT includes the ability to print the ingredients of a purchased on the Nutrition Facts Label.
ChefTec TT will be demonstrated at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, Calif., Aug. 28-30.
