Canada’s top pizza chefs to compete at Pizza Expo in March

Las Vegas, NV – Canadian Pizza is off to the International Pizza Expo convention and trade show taking place March 8-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Our 2016 Chef of the Year, Joe Leroux, who was crowned at last October’s Canadian Pizza Show, will compete in the Non-Traditional division of the International Pizza Challenge. Runner-up, Giuseppe Cortinovis will compete in the Traditional division.

In addition to the Challenge, the event will feature demonstrations, educational sessions, a trade show floor of exhibitors tailored to pizzeria needs and a Pizza Block Party celebrating pizza acrobatics.

Expo has added a number of paid restaurant business workshops from the School of Pizzeria Management. These sessions are designed to serve as advanced training for pizzeria owners and managers who wish to strengthen their operations and improve their profits. They will be held prior to the show on Sunday, March 6, and Monday, March 7.
