Breathable pizza box lets steam rise

April 5, 2014 – India-based VentIt has designed what
it calls “the world’s first breathable pizza box.” The box, which is patented
in more than 70 countries, features vents on both top and bottom.

it calls “the world’s first breathable pizza box.” The box, which is patented
in more than 70 countries, features vents on both top and bottom.

According to VentIt, the innovative design
has several benefits: it eliminates steam condensation and enhances the
temperature inside the box. Also, because the box is fully enclosed, even light
can't pass through it. Heat remains trapped within a channel, resulting in
better retention of heat inside the box.
