Boston Pizza serves up
new look

After a seven-week renovation project, the Boston Pizza restaurant on
Mountain Road in Moncton has reopened with a new look and better use of
space for customers.

The redesign gives Boston Pizza more space for customers with 275
seats and opens up the restaurant into two sections, the main dining
room and the sports bar, with a reception area in the middle next to
the main entrance.

The main dining room features comfortable
upholstered booth seats and traditional wood tables and chairs to
create a more contemporary atmosphere. The sports bar also features
several booths, tables and bar seating, decorated with sports
memorabilia like autographed jerseys from such big names as NHL stars
Sidney Crosby, Patrick Roy and Ray Bourque.

In a period of seven weeks, the seven-year-old Boston Pizza on Mountain
Road underwent a major facelift. It now sports a brand new look on both
the exterior and interior.

The sports bar also boasts the largest plasma TV screen in New Brunswick.

The
restaurant was revamped to Boston Pizza's newest design concept that
features a new glass-enclosed patio, detailed millwork, upgraded
carpeting, modern lighting, new artwork, a contemporary colour scheme,
a paperless kitchen and a total of 275 seats.

"We're thrilled
that our newly renovated restaurant will offer our guests a more
exciting dining experience," franchisee Rick VanPoelgeest said in a
news release. "We can't wait to share our new TV with the many local
sports teams and fans that visit Boston Pizza."

The restaurant
has also hired 25 new employees to help keep up with the increased
traffic at the Mountain Road location, which is near the busy retail
and shopping area.

The Moncton location first opened in 2001,
paving the way for Boston Pizza's expansion in Atlantic Canada. It was
the second Boston Pizza east of Ottawa and the franchise was so popular
that Boston Pizza has opened 17 more locations in Atlantic Canada.

As an active member of the local community, Boston Pizza Moncton sponsors numerous minor sports teams, schools and charities.

Boston
Pizza is headquartered in Richmond, B.C. It is a Canadian-owned
franchise with 300 restaurants in Canada and system-wide sales of $755
million in 2007. The franchise serves more than 38 million guests per
year and has been recognized as one of Canada's 50 best managed
companies every year since 1993. The restaurant offers more than 100
menu items including 23 varieties of gourmet pizzas, plus pasta, ribs,
sandwiches, salads, entrées and desserts.
