Vancouver – Boston Pizza same-store sales grew to 2.7 per cent for the period and 1.6 per cent year to date, the Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund announced in a news release.
Franchise sales from royalty pool restaurants were $212.4 million for the period and $608.6 million year to date, representing increases of 5.5 and 4.2 per cent, respectively, versus the same periods one year ago, the release said.
The fund announced several other highlights: Distributable cash per unit increased 9.9 per cent for the period and 10.0 per cent year to date. Payout ratio was 88.3 per cent for the period and 94.5 per cent year to date. The cash balance at the end of the period of $2.6 million.
Trustees declared October 2015 distribution to unitholders of 10.83 cents per unit.
