its 300th full-service restaurant in Canada. 

July 28, 2008 , Mississauga, Ont., – Boston Pizza International Inc. has announced the grand opening of its 300th full-service restaurant in Canada.

The new 7,630 sq. ft. restaurant, located across from Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, will create 100 jobs in the community and feature Boston Pizza's newest design concept including Panasonic's 103-inch high-definition plasma monitor – a world first in high definition plasma displays.

"Boston Pizza is thrilled to celebrate the opening of our 300th full-service restaurant," says Mark Pacinda, president, Boston Pizza International Inc. "The opening marks a significant milestone in Boston Pizza's growth strategy and we plan to keep the momentum going as we continue to expand across Canada."
Boston Pizza Square One is owned by franchisees Jason Brass, Maggie Bras and Jennifer Bras, and will be operated by general manager and Mississauga resident, Matthew Henderson.
"This is a great location for business people, families and sports fans to come and be among friends," says franchisee Jason Brass. "People are going to love the new design, which will feature expanded seating, a beautiful fireplace on the outdoor covered patio, an indoor fireplace, detailed millwork, contemporary décor and a new glass tower entrance."
With more than 100 menu items, there's something for everyone at Boston Pizza.

Guests can choose from 23 varieties of gourmet pizza, plus pasta, appetizers, ribs, entrées, salads and desserts. Boston Pizza's Delicious Alternatives menu also offers six Health CheckTM options including whole wheat pasta.
The staff of Boston Pizza Square One will present a cheque to Hazel's Hope from tips generated during practice nights at the grand opening party on Friday, May 30.
The restaurant will also support local sports teams, schools and charities including Kids Help Phone, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada through the Boston Pizza Foundation, which has raised more than $7.7 million for various Canadian charities.
Boston Pizza has four other locations in Mississauga including Erin Mills, Mississauga Rd. & Derry, Courtney Park and Aimco Blvd.
