Aug. 11, 2014, Mississauga – Boston Pizza is marking its 50th anniversary by selling $5 individual-sized pizzas and running a pizza-party-giveaway contest.

Boston Pizza officially marks its 50th anniversary on Aug. 12, and to celebrate will offer guests their choice of any individual-sized pizza for $5
all day. Individual-size or "Indy" pizzas are made-to-order and available with numerous gourmet toppings
and popular signature pizzas like Perogy, Boston Royal and the Meateor.

"When it comes to celebrating, we like to do it with our delicious pizza and we invite our guests to join us on Aug. 12," said Mark Pacinda,
president and CEO, Boston Pizza International, in a media statement. "Over the years some
things have changed, but our gourmet pizza has been a mainstay since we
opened our first location in Edmonton
in 1964. Thousands of Canadians have celebrated their own birthdays and
milestones at Boston Pizza and now it's our turn to invite them to our
biggest celebration yet."

and the Sombrero Pizza, and new food innovations such as
Cubano Pizza, Californian BLT Pizza and the Chocolate Doughcano.
