Berg Chilling Systems expands into western Canada

Edmonton – Berg Chilling Systems is setting up shop in Edmonton to provide Western Canadian businesses a comprehensive range of industrial refrigeration services that includes natural and HFC-based solutions.

 
From its new location on 47 Street in northwest Edmonton, Berg will be providing customers with services unique to the industry – featuring both natural and HFC based refrigerants, Berg said in a press release.
 
Berg supplies and services large refrigeration systems that are suited to corporate-level pizza chains and ingredient suppliers.

“Berg’s new office in Edmonton will be a vital base of western Canadian operations for us,” said Don Berggren, president of Berg Chilling Systems. “We have already hired a new Western Canadian Branch Manager and will be hiring administrative staff and industrial refrigeration mechanics over the next several weeks as we ramp up our local presence in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.”
 
Berggren said the company is steadily increasing its market share in the food and beverage sectors, and will be focusing on providing the custom engineered thermal process energy management solutions and high-quality service it is known for in both natural and synthetic refrigerants.
 
He describes the location as “a one-stop shop for all refrigeration needs” covering cooling applications from modular, skid-mounted and factory-tested systems, to large-scale built-up refrigeration plants, that use both natural and synthetic refrigerants.

The company is available to respond to customer needs on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year anywhere in Western Canada.
