SpeeDelight grill versatile for all day parts

Looking for a quick solution to satisfying customers during all day parts? SpeeDelight is a new high-speed grill from Electrolux Professional designed with handy features to deliver a variety of tasty grab-and-go dishes three times faster than traditional sandwich presses.

The grill is designed for preparing a variety of quick dishes – including pizzas, wraps, pasta, pastries and vegetables – in seconds. Its contact plates combine infrared and microwave technology to cook food in under a minute in a way that keeps it crisp, while the upper plate is designed to settle on food with just the right amount of pressure and open automatically when ready to ensure busy operators can cook with confidence, the company said in a press release.

The idea is to produce big flavour with a small energy footprint. An exclusive Energy Saving Mode reduce energy consumption by up to 60 per cent. Using its smart connectivity, through a USB port and Wi-Fi capability, operators can track, store, upgrade and share cooking menus; monitor warnings or malfunctions; improve and perfect workflows and achieve consistency across multiple outlets.

The unit comes with a kit that includes brush, spatula, scraper, removable teflon plate, baking paper, silicon protector, cleaning solutions and rapid grease remover. The manufacturer’s customer-care network puts operators in touch with over 2,000 service partners in more than 149 countries for servicing and maintenance.

The machine and recipe system took top prize at this year’s Plus X Awards, which highlight the manufacturer’s commitment to delivering innovative and accessible technologies for its customers.
