About the Pizza: A virtual road trip across Canada!

So much goes into running your successful pizzeria and at the heart of it all is your signature pizza. It’s all about the base, the crust, the cheese, the toppings and the love that goes into your pizza. It’s all about the pizza!

Canada is a mosaic of pizza styles and flavours! This fall, let us take you on a virtual road trip to check out exciting pizzas from across Canada.

Canadian Pizza will publish a new digital edition called About the Pizza! highlighting pizza trends and popularity across Canada including innovative ingredients and combinations, different styles of pizza and regional trends.

We want to know what special pizzas are making mouths water and heating up sales at your pizzeria. Do you make an interesting or innovative pizza you’d like to share? Send us a photo, details about your pizza and what makes it special – and you could be featured in ourAbout the Pizzadigital edition this September!

We want to know things like the style of crust, topping combination, local ingredients you use, special baking techniques you use, the back story of why it was created, how does your pizza represent your neighbourhood or part of the country, how do you promote this pizza to your customers and anything else you want to share about your pie!

Canadian Pizza will select a sampling of pizzas to include in our About the Pizza digital edition. Pizzas we do not publish in the special edition may be featured online at Canadianpizzamag.com and shared on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

TIPS FOR SUBMITTING YOUR PIZZA PHOTOS

• Digital photos should be at least 8 by 10 inches or 1000 by 1250 pixels at 300 dpi.
• Keep photos below 20 MB as email attachments. Use file-hosting services such as Dropbox or WeTransfer for larger images.
• Be sure to include the name of the photographer and your business, so we can give credit where it’s due.
• Give us the details! We want to know the style of crust, topping combination, local ingredients you use, special baking techniques you use, the back story of why it was created, how does your pizza represent your neighbourhood or part of the country, how do you promote this pizza to your customers and anything else you want to share about your pie!
• This contest is designed to highlight current pizza trends in Canada. Please limit your submission to a pizza that is on your menu in 2019.
• Enter only photos that you own or have permission from the photographer to use.
• Get your photos to us by July 31, 2019.
