B.C. cooks and chefs report examines restaurant staff pay, expectations and outlook

British Columbia – Research firm go2HR has released a labour market analysis of cooking occupations in British Columbia that contains a wealth of information about staffing trends and employee preferences.

Among the report’s findings is the observation that Independent of the labour market supply situation, growth in demand for cooks and chefs is expected to be positive as a result of general economic growth, changing consumer preferences (less cooking at home) and other factors.
